Monza Grand Prix Formula 1 Auto Racing *
Sunday 7th to Wednesday the 10th of September 2008
Of all the races on the Formula One calendar, the Italian Grand Prix possibly generates the most electricity. The Italian fans (Tifosi) exude so much emotion that you can't help getting caught up in the moment.
On the outskirts of Milan lies one of the oldest tracks in Formula 1. It is also one of the most evocative of venues, the banked curves of old have long gone but the atmosphere remains as a temple to all things Ferrari. It is a fast track which comes down to pure horsepower. A minimum of down force is required. To set the quickest times the drivers must use the curbs. This weighs heavily on the dependability of the chassis and it is not uncommon to see the race leader fumble due to car trouble.
In our opinion a visit to the Italian Grand Prix is the most complete racing experience of all. A guaranteed rejuvenating experience for those who have become cynical about Formula One. Here real passion for the sport lives on and this enthusiasm and revelry is highly addictive! The circuit is set amidst a glorious park and the whole setting has a charming grandeur. The Grandstands all around the circuit offer superb viewing with many of the principal stands strategically positioned opposite giant screens providing all round circuit viewing.
Space is very limited on this trip so don't wait - this is an extremely popular event and sells out early every year.
